Tucked away in the Monkland Village neighbourhood of Montreal, this home tells the story of a couple who reimagined their kitchen as a space that reflects both their aesthetic sensibility and their way of living, elegant, calm, functional, and welcoming. Drawn to quality materials and thoughtful design, they turned to Bo to bring their vision to life.

At the heart of the design is our rift-cut White Oak, finished in a soft satin and shaped with the Grip design. This material brings warmth and quiet texture, while the handleless design keeps the focus on the wood itself. To balance the look and bring in lightness, the upper cabinets are finished in the Slab model, crafted in custom-painted HDF in Benjamin Moore's Collingwood OC-28, a soft, understated grey that complements the natural tones below.

One of the standout features is the custom-built range hood, which acts like a sculptural centerpiece. Its fluid, subtle shape blends seamlessly into the architecture, adding handcrafted quality that feels both intentional and understated. It sets the tone for the rest of the space: thoughtful, precise, and quietly unique. What makes this project special is its ability to merge diverse influences into a harmonious whole. There's a quiet sense of travel, warmth, and story woven into the textures and palette.

The result? A kitchen that balances structure with soul, a space made not just for cooking, but for living fully and beautifully.
