Shipping and Delivery – Bofronts / Bokea.ca

At Bofronts, we ship all orders on full pallets to ensure your panels and components are well protected. Since most of our products exceed 4 feet in size, our pallets are at least 48” x 96” (122 cm x 244 cm) and can be quite heavy.

However, smaller orders (just a few boxes) may sometimes be shipped on small pallets or via standard courier services (Canada Post, FedEx, Purolator, etc.) when it is safe and feasible.

We work exclusively with carriers specialized in B2C delivery, capable of servicing:

→ Dense urban areas and residential streets

→ Condos and buildings with restricted access

→ Rural and remote areas

Truck sizes vary depending on the delivery route: 26 ft, 48 ft, or 53 ft. The exact truck size cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Delivery Options

1. Standard Delivery – Curbside Delivery

The pallet will be dropped off at the curb or on the sidewalk in front of your residence.

→ The delivery company will contact you to schedule the delivery within 24 to 48 hours.

→ The driver works alone and will use a liftgate to place the pallet on the ground whenever possible.

→ Moving the marchandise inside is your responsibility.

→ Please plan for necessary assistance: our pallets are large and heavy.

2. Doorstep Delivery – Threshold Delivery

The pallet will be placed beyond the sidewalk, at ground level only (e.g., entryway, driveway, garage, patio).

→ The delivery company will contact you to schedule the delivery within 24 to 48 hours.

→ The pallet remains closed and is not unpacked.

→ Access must be flat and clear, without steps, and wide enough (minimum 48”) to accommodate the entire pallet.

3. Premium Delivery – White Glove Delivery

Items are unloaded, the pallet is opened, and products are placed in the designated room on the ground floor (or another level if available in your area, not guaranteed).

→ The delivery company will contact you to schedule the delivery within 24 to 48 hours.

→ Packaging materials and the pallet are removed by the delivery team.

→ Does not include product installation.

How Delivery Costs are Determined

The delivery cost is determined based on:

1. Your address

2. The type of service selected

Your assigned designer will confirm the exact rate and add it to your file before the final order confirmation.

Deliveries to Condos and Restricted-Access Areas

→ You must inform Bofronts before delivery if the address is a condo or a building with restricted access.

→ In certain cities, such as New York, regulations may require the driver to remain in the truck, limiting the assistance they can provide.

For safety and insurance reasons, clients are not allowed to enter the truck to help unload merchandise.

→ If access does not allow the entire pallet to be brought inside, please arrange for White Glove service or have a handler on-site to unload.

Pick-up of Packages and Pallets

→ Included only with White Glove service: pickup of the pallet, boxes, and plastic wrap used for shipping.

Curbside and Threshold services do not include packaging pickup; management of these materials is your responsibility.

→ Waste generated from installation or assembly is not collected.

→ In densely populated urban areas, pickup is only possible if the carrier can safely park and load the debris directly into the truck.

Additional Fees

Any charges imposed by the carrier (second delivery attempt, incorrect address, storage fees, island or remote area fees) are the responsibility of the client.

In case of Damage

1. Take clear photos of the pallet and any damage.

2. Report it immediately to the driver and note it on the delivery slip.

3. Send the photos and details to admin@bokea.ca within 72 hours.

4. Keep the packaging and damaged items until the carrier’s investigation is complete.

⚠ Bofronts Tip:

Make sure your space is ready to receive the pallet, that access is clear, and arrange for assistance on delivery day to avoid any delays or additional fees.
