Cosentino is a family business founded by an Italian family that immigrated to Spain to work in the marble industry.
After several unsuccessful attempts to develop new products, the family took a major risk by launching Silestone in the early 1980s, which became a major success. Cosentino was one of the first companies to introduce engineered quartz to the market. About 15 years ago, the company launched another flagship product line, Dekton.
