Preconditions

The warranties, exclusions, and conditions outlined below apply solely to the original purchaser. As the original purchaser, only you have the right to assess the quality of the delivery, handling, installation, and use of the products.

 

Warranty and Exclusion

The warranty is offered exclusively to you, the original purchaser, and remains valid as long as you own the product purchased from Bofronts. This warranty is non-transferable.
 

Service Purchase

Bo’s services, such as plan creation or basket preparation, support and accompany project realization. These services are part of a broader project carried out by a building professional or by yourself. Bo is not responsible for errors related to measurements provided by the client, non-compliant dimensions if technical sheets are not provided in advance, modifications after service provision or order placement, kitchen installation management, damages incurred during installation, incorrect application of the installation plan, or changes made to materials post-delivery.

Each service includes an initial video conference appointment at the start of the project. For planning services, a second consultation can be scheduled if necessary. Major changes to the plan or basket require the purchase of a new service by the client. No refunds will be issued for planning or basket services. Bo baskets do not represent firm offers, and item prices may change without prior notice.
 

Bo Product Purchase

No refunds or exchanges are permitted for errors in measurement, choice of finish, design, texture, grain, or grain orientation.

Each wood product is unique, and Bo cannot control variations in grain, pattern, color, or texture within the same wood type. Bo cannot guarantee exact replication of these characteristics across orders. To minimize shade variations, we advise ordering all wood products at once. By default, our wood products are manufactured without a specific grain arrangement. This option is available at an additional cost, depending on the model. Contact support@bofronts.com for further details. Please note that framed doors cannot be produced with matched grain. Wood products require finishing to be used, including those sold unfinished.

A warp of up to 1/8" over a length of 42" (or 1/4" over 72") is considered normal and within industry standards, and is therefore not covered under warranty.

For lacquered finishes, Bo offers all Benjamin Moore shades; however, no warranty is provided against scratches or other damages post-delivery. For best results, follow the provided drying instructions.

For HDF projects, a slight color variation (1-2%) may occur in opaque lacquer finishes. A color sample can be ordered for verification, subject to an additional 15-business-day lead time and a $100 fee.

The gloss of our products typically ranges between 5% and 10%. Solid-color lacquers, finished with a water-based varnish, have a gloss level ranging from 15% to 20%. 

For unfinished orders, Bo does not guarantee the final product once items have been altered by the client, such as through sanding or applying any finish. Refer to the warning document for additional details.

Polymer products carry a 10-year warranty, excluding damages from misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, inadequate storage, or exposure to temperatures above 85°C.

Orders for handles are final and non-returnable. Handles can be viewed at our Montreal showroom or ordered as samples before placing a full order.

We recommend ordering samples through our website to confirm the desired appearance. For wood samples, select a finish from our available options.

Bo does not distribute IKEA products and is not liable for unforeseen events or modifications by IKEA.

 

Custom Products, Natural Variations and Final Sale

 

→ Nature of Products
All products sold by Bofronts are custom-made, specifically for each client, according to the dimensions, materials, finishes, and specifications selected at the time of order.

Due to the fully customized nature of these products, the client acknowledges and agrees that all sales are final once production has begun. No returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds will be accepted after production has started. Products cannot be recovered, reused, or resold.

Conditions applicable to modifications or cancellations prior to the start of production are outlined in the section “Order Modifications and Cancellations.” Once production has begun, the sale becomes final.

 

→ Natural Materials and Variations
The client acknowledges that wood and natural materials have inherent variations, including but not limited to grain, texture, tone, knots, patterns, and visual contrast.

These variations are normal, unavoidable, and an integral part of natural materials. They do not constitute a defect, manufacturing error, or non-conformity, and are not covered under warranty.

Images, samples, reference photos, marketing content, or visuals presented on the website, social media, or during meetings are provided for illustrative purposes only. They are intended to demonstrate the general style, color, and finish, and do not guarantee an identical result across an entire project or between different orders.

 

→ Finish, Appearance and Visual Expectations
The client acknowledges that a finish, including but not limited to matte, satin, or lacquered finishes, does not alter the natural structure or grain of the materials.

The final appearance of the products may vary depending on lighting, environment, installation, orientation, project context, and conditions of use. Subjective expectations or comparisons with inspiration images from external platforms, including Pinterest, Instagram, or any other media, cannot serve as grounds for a claim, product refusal, or request for refund.

 

→ Post-Delivery Adjustments
Minor adjustments, insertions, corrections, or interventions required to complete the installation are a normal part of a custom project.

These adjustments do not constitute grounds for returns, product refusal, payment disputes, or refunds.

 

→ Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted without reservation all of the present terms and conditions, including those related to custom products, natural material variations, and final sale.

 

Countertop Purchase

The warranties related to countertops are provided by the installer and the manufacturer.

 

Delivery

Free delivery is available throughout Quebec and Ontario. Fees apply for other provinces. The buyer will be contacted 48 hours before delivery to schedule a date and time. If the delivery address changes, please notify us promptly at support@bofronts.com. Failure to notify us of an address change prior to delivery will incur a $90 delivery fee.

*Free shipping on orders over $10,000 USD to the U.S. mainland only. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are excluded.

All delivery timelines mentioned on our website, in the chat, in automated emails, automated communications, promotional emails, advertisements, organic posts, or in any other communication channel are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute a contractual commitment from Bofronts.

Given the nature of our industry, our products rely on demanding processes and a specialized supply chain. Certain collections, such as those made from solid wood, wood veneers, or hand-painted products, require complex finishing steps that are time-consuming and highly meticulous. Other collections, even those without finishing, also depend on the expertise of specialized suppliers and on a supply chain over which we have no direct control.

We make every effort to meet the indicated timelines and to minimize the impact of potential delays. If a delay is anticipated or confirmed, you will be notified as soon as we have the relevant information.
 

Payment

Payments can be made on our site by bank transfer, credit card, or via Affirm. The production of your order will not begin until full payment is received.

 

Promotion Restriction

Please note that our promotions cannot be combined. It is not possible to combine two promotions or to apply an additional discount to an existing promotion. This policy ensures a fair and transparent experience for all our customers. We invite you to select the offer that best suits your needs during your purchase. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

All promotions or discounts mentioned on our social media platforms or in our promotional emails are exclusively reserved for new clients. If you have previously contacted us, you are considered an existing client and therefore not eligible for these offers. Additionally, all promotions are only applicable to orders with a minimum value of $5,000. We reserve the right to verify client eligibility before applying any promotion.

 

Bo Accredited Professionals

Professionals accredited by Bo are independent individuals or companies, verified for their initial compliance and post-intervention service quality. Bo is not responsible for the services offered or the work performed by these professionals. It is the client's responsibility to ensure the necessary accreditations of professionals recommended by Bo.

 

After-Sales Service

Bo is committed to delivering products without manufacturing defects. Despite our rigorous inspections, a defect may occasionally escape our quality control. Any manufacturing defect must be initially reported within 72 hours of receiving the product, with a final confirmation submitted within a maximum of 30 days. This ensures that any issues, particularly with wooden products, are documented early on. 

If further issues arise within the warranty period, this initial documentation will support the warranty claim. After this period, breakages unrelated to manufacturing defects will be considered normal wear and tear. It is crucial to inspect each product upon delivery; you are responsible for checking the condition of packages upon receipt and reporting any damages immediately to the delivery person.

 

Order Modifications and Cancellations

  • Within 24 hours following the order: Modifications or cancellations are free of charge.
  • From 48 to 72 hours after the order: Modifications are possible with a fee of $50. For cancellations, a fee of $200 excluding taxes applies.
  • After 72 hours: No cancellation is possible.
  • To add items to your order, a new order must be placed. The delivery times mentioned on the site will apply to this new order.

Warranties

  • Wood Veneer Doors, Fronts, Panels (Slab, Grip, Pull, Stripe, Mini Stripe, Wave, Round, Square): 2-year warranty for material or manufacturing defects under normal use.

  • Solid Wood Doors, Fronts, Panels (Shaker, 5-piece, Traditional, Slim): 1-year warranty against material or manufacturing defects under normal use.

  • Polymer Products: 10-year warranty from the date of purchase.

  • Laminate Products: 5-year warranty from the date of purchase.

  • Handles: 2-year warranty for normal use. Samples are not guaranteed.

  • Countertops: Warranties are provided by the installer and manufacturer, with varying conditions and durations.
     

Cybersecurity

Bo is committed to protecting your information’s confidentiality. We are not responsible for unauthorized use of your data by third parties. If you suspect misuse, notify Bo immediately to restore data security and integrity. Bo can, upon request, share your information with accredited professionals.
